Artistic Medium:  Stained Glass

 

Art Style/Influences:  Nouveau - decorative, vases, lamps and stained glass windows.  Tiffany style.  

 

Themes or Subjects Explored:  Gnomes, florals, holiday themes (Santa, Elves, Candy Canes, etc), College Mascots, animals, Geometric pieces, letters/numbers.  Anything goes!

 

Education or Training:  Learned stained glass at Cape Fear Studios back in 2013.  Jaylene Nordgren was my instructor

 

Exhibitions or Shows:  Member Show at CFS

 

Commission or Collaboration Work:  I have done stained glass pieces for individuals in KY, PA, TX, TN and Canada.  I was commissioned to do the Louisville Cardinal Mascot as one of many retirement gifts for the late Coach Crum ( March 2001).

 

Current Projects or Focus:  currently working on three Christmas stained glass pieces for CFS for the holiday.  A personal piece for son and working with a client on doing a stained glass portrait of her nephew.
