Cape Fear Studios is currently accepting submissions for the following show:

Cabin Fever Exhibition

This is a non-juried exhibition and is open to all artists, 18 or older. The exhibit will be on display from January 23rd - February 24th, 2026 in the Cape Fear Studios Main Gallery in Fayetteville, NC.

First Place: $125

Honorable Mentions (2) $50 each

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ REQUIREMENTS & INSTRUCTIONS.

SPECIFICATIONS: Artist may submit up to two original works of art in any medium, completed in the last two years. Works must not be copied from any other artist or published materials nor previously exhibited in Cumberland County. All entries must be for sale. 2D works may not exceed 40" x 40", including frame and must be properly wired for hanging with picture wire and D rings or eye hooks. No saw-tooth hangers. 3D work must be ready to display, be of a manageable size, and free of chips, scratches, cracks or other quality issues that are not integral to the formulation or interpretation of the piece. Work requiring extraordinary installation will be declined.

MEDIA: All media accepted, originals only.

ENTRY FEE: Each entry must be accompanied by a signed entry form. The entry fee is $15.00 for one (1) piece and $25.00 for two (2) pieces. Entry fee is nonrefundable.

Entries will be accepted Thursday, January 15th and Friday, January 16th from 11am - 5pm and on Saturday, January 17th from 10am - 2pm. Hand-delivered only; no late entries will be accepted.

SALES: All works must be for sale. In the event a work is sold, Cape Fear Studios will retain 30% commission of the sale price. State sales tax is applicable to all sales. No work may be withdrawn early from the show. Payment from sales will be made to the artist within 30 days after the close of the exhibit. Price must remain the same as listed on the entry form.

DISCLAIMER AGREEMENT: Work is submitted at the risk of the artist. While all possible care will be taken, Cape Fear Studios, its members or representatives, will not assume responsibility for any loss or damage incurred before, during, or after the exhibit.

Cape Fear Studios reserves the right to refuse any work that does not comply with specifications. Your signed entry form signifies your agreement with the terms and conditions stated herein, including granting permission to Cape Fear Studios to reproduce accepted images for advertising.
