My wife paints in watercolour, so our entire house hunt came down to one question: where the desk would stand and what that window sees at eleven in the morning. North facing, even light, no direct sun after midday. It sounds like a detail and it removed half the list, because in Krabi most of the houses with a good layout are turned towards the water, which means west.
