artist statement

Yes!  Just so!

I love working with color, especially the delicacy which watercolors produce.  I have also enjoyed working in colored pencil, and lately, in oils.  I shall continue learning and striving to represent the beauty, the uniqueness of objects and scenes.  I would like my work to evoke something, whether pleasure of an emotion or appreciation of the subject in the painting as if the viewer were to say:

"yes!  Just so!"
